Colombia has already become a well established travel destination. The figures don't lie, tourism grows as the trust in our country increases.

The hotel services which are provided in the different cities are equal to the best around the world. We have hotels for all persons catering for the most illustrious guests.

During the month of June of 2006, 87 000 foreigners traveled to Colombia, for a total of 477 532 foreign visitors accumulated between January and June of 2006. These arrivals meant an increase of 4.23% with regard to the same month of the previous year, and 12.41% with regard to the one accumulated of the first semester of 2005.

Close to 50% of the foreigners that entered Colombia stayed in Bogotá, with a total of 236.714 people. The second place preferred in Colombia by foreigners is Bolívar which received 11.9% of the visitors.  The coffee region received 9.1%, Antioquia with 8.7% and San Andrés with 6.7%.

In the first trimester of 2006, the sector of hotels and restaurants represented 2.20% of the national GDP and 4.55% of the GDP in sector services.
