- Avoid to be exposed in the sun when the rays are stronger, that is to say among 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- If you don't have habit of sun exposure or have fair skin tone then use a product with a high factor of solar protection.
- Don't try to tan since in only one day it will only achieve burns; makes it little by little, diminishing the protection factor as the days pass.
- The face, especially the nose, the lips and the area around the eyes need higher protection factors; also, the shoulders, chest and ears.
- If traveling with children remember to use a specialized protection.

- Avoid contact with citric fruits as the can cause stains in the sun.
- Always drink large amounts of water.
